Cairo Metro Guide ("the App") is an unofficial, independently developed guide app. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the National Authority for Tunnels (NAT) or any government entity. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App collects and how it is used.

Data We Collect

The App is designed to work fully offline. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. Specifically:

• No account required - You do not need to sign up or log in.
• No personal information - We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any identifying information.
• Route & trip history - Recent trips and favorites are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted.

Location Data

The App may request access to your device's location to show nearby stations. Location data is:

• Processed entirely on your device
• Never transmitted to any server
• Never stored or logged
• Only used when you actively use the "Nearby" feature

You can deny location permission and still use all other features of the App.

Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google AdMob may collect and use data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. This may include:

• Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
• IP address
• General location (country/region level)
• App usage data for ad personalization

You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob - For displaying advertisements (Privacy Policy)
• OpenStreetMap - For map tiles display (Privacy Policy)

Data Storage

All app preferences, recent trips, and favorite routes are stored locally on your device using standard platform storage (SharedPreferences). This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is deleted when you uninstall the App
• Can be cleared from your device settings

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13. The App does not require any personal information to function.
